A Sensible Alternative to the Columbia River Crossing

Plans for the three point six billion dollar “Columbia River Crossing Project” are moving forward, and Portland Mayor Sam Adams has publicly rebuked a less costly alternative.  Adams told the Oregonian yesterday that George Crandall’s  “Common Sense Alternative” to replace the I-5 bridge on the Columbia River is not feesible due to a lack of federal funds.
