Georgia Might Execute Innocent Man
Troy Davis, an inmate in Georgia has been scheduled, for the fourth time, to be executed for the murder of a police officer, September 21st. However, many people, including high profile figure from the Pope to an ex-President are concerned that an innocent man be executed by the State of Georgia. Global protests are being held in support of Davis, with one happening right now in Portland and lasting through 8 p.m..
KBOO’s Sue Supriano spoke to Keith Dalton of the Portland chapter of the NAACP.
