Nuclear Plant Safety Violations

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission, or N-R-C, recently announced that it cited the Hanford Nuclear Reservation for safety violations in connection with five events last year. Energy Northwest, which operates the reactor, is applying to relicense the reactor for another twenty years, and received the NCR’s safety report on November 2nd.
