Climate activist and corbett resident Ken Ward’s trial on sabotage charges ended in a hung jury Wednesday, in Washington’s Skagit County.
Ward initially faced up to 30 years in prison for shutting down the Trans-Mountain Pipeline .
Judge Michael Rickert denied Ward a necessity defense and expressed doubts about climate change.
KBOO reporter Miriam Widman spoke to Ward and asked him for his thoughts on the hung jury.
