Multnomah County Ballot Counting

When KBOO heard about the possibility of water damage on ballots at the Multnomah County elections office, reporter Theresa Mitchell headed over to find out what was going on.
Although the close race between Jeff Merkley and incumbent Gordon Smith for State Senator has now been decided for Merkley, we knew that Multnomah, the most populous county in Oregon, played a critical role in determining that result.
