Coal Terminal on Columbia River Appealed

This week, environmental groups filed an appeal to block the construction of a coal export terminal on the Columbia River in Longview, Washington. Last month, Cowlitz County gave Shoreline Development permits to build the first major coal export site on the U.S. West Coast. The nonprofit environment group EarthJustice has filed the appeal to block construction of the plant.

KBOO's, Crystal Leighty has more on the story.
