National Park at Hanford Proposed

U.S Interior Secretary Ken Salazar has submitted a proposal to create natiojnal parks out of the nations first nuclear sites. Under the plan, Los Alamos, Hanford, and Oak Ridge sites would be awarded national park status. However, the plan has received signifigant criticism from some anti-nuclear activists.
