Police Role at Port Shutdown
Ports up and down the west coast were closed yesterday and Occupy Portland shut down terminals four, five and six in North Portland. There was some confusion at terminal five regarding whether or not to block certain trucks and tempers flared.
KBOO’s Joe Meyer spoke with Portland Police Lieutenant Robert King about the police response and lack of response at nonviolent citizen protests.
