Portland To Move Money To Credit Unions

Occupy Portland has claimed a victory in a campaign to move the city’s money to local banks.

Mayor Sam Adams has posted a draft proposal to steer a quarter million dollars of city money to 10 local credit unions or community banks.

Web responses have been overwhelmingly positive, with one blogger saying the Mayor is quote “visibly supporting the recent Resolution surrounding the issues of corporate personhood."
